Thank you ms! I live in Metropolis around the corner from my friend Superman but even he has trouble dealing with all the uninsured drivers. He has suggested to me that I park off road and do not use my car Mon-Fri and he will fly us both up to Leicestershire for a driving extravaganza at the weekends. All he asks is that I keep a weather eye out for green Kryptonite. Maybe other members have interesting stories on how they avoid uninsured drivers. By the way what do you think of "Get the strength of the insurance companies around you"? I'm in philosophical mode at this moment in time.

'As you can see, Barkerend in Bradford, West Yorkshire, has the dubious title of being the UK's uninsured driving capital. Almost half the vehicles registered in the area don't have any cover.'

Where in the article can you see anything like this figure ?

Hi Harry, Good spot, thanks. The info on the map doesn't show it, so I've ammended the article - cheers.

If you are hunting down the full statistics, you can find the report over on the MIB website. There's also a really good piece of research by the organisation here.

    Thanks for reading,

    Felicity
