    Re: Advice Please - Thanks

    Good evening Deafnat80,

You've come to the right place and hopefully will receive more information and better than mine so experts feel free to better this information and help deafnat80 out- meanwhile please keep checking this forum and your post for updates.

I stand to be corrected but there should be a 'cooling off ' period wherby you can cancel. Get back onto them first thing in the morning ,with a trusted friend or have you an advocate/carer, that can help you if you're hearing not too good and explain you want to cancel. Keep a copy of your sent e mail. On signing the papers did you get any paperwork 'terms and conditions' or what they may call 'key facts' explaining the process? More help I hope will be coming through tonight!

    Regards,

    Paul

    Advice Please - Thanks

Hello, I am new on here. Bare with me, as I am not good with my literacy skills.

I really need some help here, I am a single mum of one with mild learning difficulites I apply a loan from Provident Personal Credit, I haven't recevied the money yet. The agent came round today with the papers and caught me in a bad time. I signed the papers for £800, but I really want to cancel the loan. Is it to late for me to cancel it? I am really regretting it now. And the agent is coming back on Friday with the cash, as I really don't want it now. I'm partially deaf, as I cannot use the phone very well. I have e-mailed tonight to cancel the loan, as I literally cannot afford it with the ARR is so high. It's my own fault. I'm really scared if it is too late.. Please help - thanks.
