    I have recently transferred my alliegence from Vodafone (who I have been with for 13 years) to Tmobile on a £20 per month unlimited TxT package - due to Vodafones inability to even respond to my repeated email enquiries - how much worse can T-Oranile be ?

    To be fair the opening thread says texts and minutes or a handset. O2 do sim only deald as do the other networks.

    QUESTION

    Is this a great opportunity to get away from Orange and T-Mobile asap, contracts permitting, on the basis that it is not unreasonable to suggest that the merger of two mediocre technical and human resource systems could well lead to some real customer horror stories?

    It also ignores the sub £5 monthly deals that Orange does which give you 50 minutes and 50 texts - more than enough for me as a light user.

    Why is it always assumed that a new handset is required with all of these contracts ?

    I, for one, wish to keep my handset - so when I run through the offers - there is no suitable option for me ...
