    Minckle

You should have taken out some Life cover at the same time as your Mortgage. Have a look at your paperwork.

See moneysupermarket guide on life cover http://www.moneysupermarket.com/c/lifeinsurance/guide/1/

You can arrange to get some advice via this site if you go to the red Insurance sign at the top of the page and then go to the life page. Or go to a local Independent Financial Advisor who will take a look at your requirements and recommend the most suitable products for you.

    Life Insurance - Advice needed

I need some general advice on life insurance and if theres any point for me to get some.

    Heres my details

Im 30 years old, Male, Single, No Kids, £40k mortgage (my house being worth about £70k minimum)

I feel like i should start looking at these things. Im in a lucky situation where if i die tomorrow i wouldn't have any debts to cover and the sale of my house would cover the mortgage.

therefore would you still recommend I get some life insurance and if so what type?

also i notice its asks how long you want to policy for. if I put 40 years does that mean im signed up for 40 years or do you still re-evaluate it every few years?

any advice would be most appreciated

    thanks
