This happened to me as well. Try transfering a pound to it and if it works then the account is open.

When it happened to me and i was declined it showed a role number and account details but after a week it was removed. When i called they told me it was reffered and then declined.

Hi just wondered if anybody has had a similar experience?

I applied for a Current Account with Halifax lat night through my Online Banking. I current have and Easy Cash and Savings Account.

After I had applied it told me i had been refused, i went online today and it is showing a Current Account in my online banking including an account number, roll number and sortcode.

Any Ideas?
