    Yes the Insurers have imposed or applied terms to your policy due to the claims record. Very reasonable I think having made 3 claims in 3 years.

    You can still shop around but you will have to disclose the claims details and the £100 excess being applied when you discuss quotations with other insurers.

    Home Insurance renewal

    My current insurers have advised that due to my claims experience (3 claims in the last 3 years), I will now be responsible for the first £100 in respect of the policy excess. Is this considered as 'imposing terms'?
