    Npower SW D1 ONE tarrif

    Hello,

I'm currently on the Npower SW D1 ONE tarrif which is fixed until August '09. I'm sure Npower have been overcharging me per unit on gas and electricity, but I can't find the paperwork to prove that the price they quoted me at the outset was less than what they are charging me now.

I'm sure I was quoted 5.761 pence per unit for gas but I'm not sure about electricity. I live in the South Wales area which might make a different as far as cost is concerned.

Can anyone give me some definitve info on what I should be paying per unit?

    Thanks

    tvmo:

I can't tell you what you were quoted but you can use a price comparison website, eg Moneysupermarket to find the rates for your current tariff.

The Npower One tariff is a no standing charge tariff. Possibly this features a gotcha called "primary unit seasonal weighting" which results in the winter bill being loaded. Possibly why you think you are being overcharged.
