    Bottom of Form

This company changed from Toucan To Pipex They keep asking us for money for accounts that are non exsistent ie I had no telephone line with them and a broadband that did not work, down all the time, spammed and lousy speeds. I have aleady claimed £900 in lost sales and £50 (4 letters x £50) in out of pocket expenses. Dont whatever use their premium rates (sucker, sorry customer service) line it is another "con" to extracte money.

We are both in poor health and disabled. But have been bombarded with robotic telephone calls and letters threatening to bring in debt collectors etc. If they continue as pensioners we shall have no option but to call in birminham police to stop this stalking. Update (this has now been done)Broad band users beware of this ISP. They will try too hound you into submission but dont give in report them to the ISPA, police, watchdog, your mp. Give back what they give you and charge them for your time. In our case (similar to bank charges for a letter) we demand £50 per reply as per our out-of-pocket-expenses dealing with such charlatans practising "sharp practices" example keeping people tied up to their premium lines. Dont ring em' just report them. If you need more proof just put Pipex Credit Control Pipex or automated phone calls from pipex into your search engine and watch those complaints stack up. Avoid this crooked outfit like the plague! Is nobody taking notice of this outfits antics. We are, and will outline more details to interested bodies at the end of June 2009.Pipex have been informed of this if you have had similar problems do the same. They need closing down for the publics sake.

Re: Pipex, a communications company that doesn't communicate

Pipex couldn't communicate if their very lives depended on it.

Look, this is simple. Pipex, Tiscali, Toucan, TalkTalk, AOL ... all of them are ISP parasites and need to be regulated (or preferably shut down). The only legitimate ISP is one that actually owns the cable that goes between your home/office and the telephone exchange. Anyone else is an "also ran" who is dependent on someone else's systems and someone else's technical people.

If you want to pay pennies for a state-of-the-art service, then expect the rubbish that comes with it. Quality costs and I am not saying that BT has all the answers, but I never get the run-around from them. If there is a fault,I speak to a UK call centre and get an answer within minutes or an engineer within hours. Yes, it is not cheap, but the difference is phenomenal.

Pipex WERE one of the best. Now they are one of the worst. Stay away.

    SHARK!

Pipex, a communications company that doesn't communicate

I changed my line rental and landline package from Toucan when I was informed that PIPEX had taken over Toucan, I went to TalkTalk. Pipex screwd up the changeover and 3 months down the line I am still being hassled. Does Credit Controls Mr John Cox speak to Customer Services (a term which when used in conjunction with PIPEX has no real meaning). They just do not communicate within the company so I suppose it is stupid to think that they may communicate with their customers (this is a term for people who have not yet found out about this pathetic and useless outfit.

Thanks to whoever it was who posted the Pipex MD's e mail, from what I read on the forum it seems that the adress has got AT where there should be a "@". I have e mailed them both, lets see what happens next.
