    pre payment

my suppliers for gas and electric have been scottish power for 7 years, my gas is paid by direct debit but my electric is a pre payment meter. i rang and asked if my pre payment meter can be changed so i can pay by direct debit, i was informed this would cost £150.00 which i receive back after 12 months and £44 installation non refundable. this is shameful, is there a supplier i could change to that would not charge me for this option

email them and say that you find it unjustified and that if they do not change it free, you will complaint to the energy supply ombudsman. They will soon change their minds.
