    thanks, i managed to part ex the car in the end and didnt have to pay to much extra and now havea diesel so will save money with that thanks a lot for your help

    The car would be in negative equity as soon as you drove it off the forecourt. I dont think you would be able to give it straight back, it will 100% affect your credit rating.

    hi there, tbh this is not possible as far as i know. in order for this to happen atleast 50% of the outstanding balance needs to be paid on the car first before you can just give it back.

    i would suggest maybe trying to sell it privatley and getting the potential buyer the pa the finance company instead of you, i have heard of people doing this with no issues.

    Vauxhall voluntary termination

    Hi I brought my vauxhall in january and i can no longer afford the repayments on my car. When i was buying my car i was told by the sales man that if this car goes into negative equity then i can just simply give them the keys and hand the car back to them is this right can i do this as it was only 5 months ago?
