    driving in europe

    HI all

I am intending to do a tour of Europe in the summer, the plan is I will drive my own car using a sat nav to get around. I have read various contradictory reports as regards radar detection in sat navs can anyone tell me what is the definitive legal situation, are you allowed to use sat nav with fixed speed camera detectors or are any radar detecting devices illegall, any advice would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

This is a discussion forum. You wont get a definitive legal answer on a question like yours here. All you might get are opinions, suggestions and, if you are lucky, someone who thinks they know the answer.

My opinion is that you stick to the speed limits. If you can't do that (I wish I could!), you should turn on your gadget unless anyone in authority asks you to do otherwise.
