Re: Internet Banking - Spending Analysis

Thanks both for your advice. I checked with RBS but even though they also provide the One Account they don't offer the level of analysis that I get with One Account.

But... then I had an epiphany! I wasn't looking at this laterally enough and rather than worrying about what the online service can do, I'm now looking at a bank account that lets you download statements in a format that can be read by something like Accountz or MS Money (OFX files). See my other post re "Downloading statements from Nationwide".

    Thanks,
    Simon

HSBC send you twice yearly compilations of this sort of stuff...... At least, they did.

    hi,
The Royal Bank of Scotland has a similar feature on its online banking, to allow you to do this.
    Maybe worth checking out.

    Internet Banking - Spending Analysis

We currently have an offset mortgage with The One Account but because of a home move we'll be getting a fixed rate mortgage so will need to get a new current account as well.

One of the features of The One Account is that their Internet banking facility lets you categorise all your transactions and then analyse your spending with pie charts, top 10 lists etc., I find it a really useful way of figuring out where all the pennies go and to manage our spending.

Does anyone know of another current account with the same or similar feature?

    Thanks :o)
