My boyfriend travelled to South Africa in February and he didn't obtain travel insurance prior to leaving the UK - we would like to arrange for travel insurance as he's staying in SA until the beginning of May. Does the travel policy date need to correlate with the original date of travel landing in SA, or can we purchase insurance from today's date with a policy covering his time until he steps back onto UK soil? I cannot back date the insurance policy on the online form.
