Re: Policy lost due to own stupidity!!

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately I didn't ever call them - was all handled online. I thought of checking my history but it only goes back a couple months :( I've called six companies who come in with a similar quote when I put the same details into moneysupermarket but so far no joy. I really wish there was some sort of a central database or something.

If you have access to your telephone records online, check to see what telephone numbers you have dialled in September and see if there may be one or two calls to the company in question or unusual itemised numbers showing, it may just narrow things down slightly to this company you dealt with.?

Policy lost due to own stupidity!!

I paid for an annual (couple's) multi-trip policy last September, only with a holiday looming next week I've realized I don't know which company it was with! To cap it off I can't access the email account I used to set it up and don't have a printout of the document!

In fact the only record of the policy I have is my credit card statement, which simply states "travel insurance" and "internet" in the details section. Have tried calling them but they don't have any further information than that.

I've also tried calling moneysupermarked, with whom I compared prices - they don't keep records of all transferrals and can't find anything of this one.

So the only thing I can think of is calling round the various companies and asking whether I have a policy with them...quite a daunting task! Otherwide it looks like I'll have to order a new one :'(

Any suggestions would be incredibly gratefully received!!
