Re: New Credit Card Application - Should I Wait?

I have been in my job for three month. I got two new credit cards (American Express and IF) the total credit I have been given this month is greater than my annual take home pay. I applied online, i don't think either company asked me how long I had been in my job.

New Credit Card Application - Should I Wait?

Hi, I recently started a new job and have been with my new employer for less than 1 month. I am considering applying for a 0% balance transfer card. I have an excellent credit rating from both Experian and Equifax, so I will not be rejected based on my credit history, but am concerned at the fact that since I have changed employers and have been with my current employer for such a short length of time, lenders may view this adversely and give me a lower credit score?
Am I better off waiting a few months before I apply for a new credit card? Any advise? Thanks.
