Yes, the dealer should fit an alarm.

You should contact the seller and see if they are going to be reasonable. If not, in my opinion, you should forget about the matter. A basic alarm can be put in your car for £10.

    Used car purchase

    Hello,

Just have another question (havent been having much luck lately)!

I recently purchased a new used car. On the advert on the dealers website and on e-bay (kept a printed copy of the ebay ad), it states that the car has an alarm.

I stupidly didn't check this when I bought the car, and I discovered yesterday that it doesn't actually have an alarm.

So, was just wondering if the dealer should fit an alarm onto the car for me, or if I've got no rights because I bought the car as seen?

    Cheers.
