I am no legal eagle but if the car was repaired properly then I don't think they have any legal obligation to inform you it was in a smash (perhaps even they didn't know), as long as the car is legal.

Sorry my comments are not more supportive but perhaps it maybe an idea to speak to Arnold Clark and see what they say, you never know.

Hi all. Help. I bought a car from Arnold Clarks 18 months ago. It is a 2006 corsa. I have since found out it has been in a smash and i can now see where as the paint is dull. They never told me this. I would not have bought it if i had known. Have i got a good case?
