Just as Fnarr said, They are legally binding under the Regulations and its Upto 8mbs for a reason, Becasue not everyone can recive it. You also need to check the terms and conditions [x] To activate the BB, once you do that you are legally binded

You can cancel at any time giving 30 days notice. "If you end your agreement for the service during the relevant minimum period you will have to pay an charge by way of compensation to us.........This charge will be equal to the total of the monthly rental charges left in the minimum period and...... we may also charge you up to £44.04 for the home hub."

Distance selling regs don't require any documents to be signed to enter into a binding agreement.

    BT Option 3

Is there anyway of cancelling the contract? Thats even if there is a one? Because I've not signed any legal documents stating that I'm in a contract with them.

I have also cancelled paying them by Direct Debit, as they kept taking the payments before the "on or after" date that is clearly stated on the bills.

I'm fed up with their crap service! 25 quid a month, for "up to" 8mb?! Yeah right! I'm lucky to get 150KB, nevermind 8mb.
