    current supplier

I moved supplier about 3 months ago and gave the first full reading last week.

Imagine my shock to then receive the bill and find I am about £250 in debt by the end of the 1st 1/4 so they intended to double my monthly direct debit.

I used a switch site and the estimate of annual consumption was in line with the figures my supplier confirms for a full year thus I am left to wrestle with the the thought of being ripped off as no allowance from the supplier for warmer times.

To overcome this problem they give me stark choices of either paying this debt off now and start over - with a nice 25% increase in my current debit or I can leave as is so they can inflict a doubling of the direct debit payments to produce a very healthy surplus on their side of the account at the end of the first year.

For me personally, I look forward with great expectations that energy companies reduce prices soonest so I can look elsewhere for my energy supplies as the actions of this supplier are not what I expected.
