So it does! Thanks very much..

I wonder if I need travel insurance at all in this case - perhaps for the legal cover.

You may find that your household contents cover might cover single items to a greater value, even when you are on holiday.

Travel insurance - single item cover

    Hello,

I'm looking for a travel insuarance policy that will cover my wife's camera (£350). Can anyone point me to one?

All of the ones I have found so far limit single item cover to a maximum of £250 (mostly less). Does this mean that if lost, we would get that amount or would they refuse to pay anything on grounds the item was too valuable?

I have found InsureAndGo do a Gold standard one that goes up to £300.

The single item cover generally seems low on all policies.. and business cover only goes up to £500 for single items it seems. What happens if you want to take a laptop?
