    Sadly, no. But why doesn't it need updating online? Can it download from the satellite signal? If so, that's pretty cool!

    Did you use the Care Trek 400? The difference is that you can only purchase it on line, is competitively priced and doesn't need updating via the internet. For a technophobe these are all +++but not many people have heard of this system that is why I am checking before buying.

    Nope!! What's the difference?

    I thought satnav was a boys' toy, but the one I borrowed on a recent trip to Manchester was pretty cool actually. A very good idea if, like me, you often make journeys with four kids in tow and no other adult!!

    Has anyone heard of the Car Trek 400 system? Is it effective as a sat nav system?
