You should do a few price comparisons using the tools on this, or other sites (use the "gas & electricity" tab at the top) before agreeing to anything. Usually (but not always) you can do better by finding the deals yourself than by using the deals that find you.

I have just been approached by someone in M&S offering me a great deal to sign up with M&S and Southern Electric for cheaper gas and electricity

Has anybody else heard of this or actually using them?
