I doubt it. You will have the choice of work or holiday. Insurance is more for issues where you don't have a choice like illness, accidents, thefts, etc..

Is there a travel insurance policy...?

Can anyone help please? My partner and I both work freelance and so normally book holidays at the very last minute when we know we'll be available to go and enjoy, without missing work. However, a great deal has come up which has to be booked this month (January) but doesn't depart til next October. While we really want to go on this trip, we're worried if either or both of us gets lucritive jobs between now and then, we would probably have to cancel the trip and thus lose a lot of money. Is there a travel insurance policy that would cover us for cancellation due to work commitments, rather than illness or death etc, without costing the earth in premium or excess etc?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
