Re: advice on individual or couples travel insurance

Don't ring the company helpline on your document but email the company for an exact clarification. Their 'enquiries' email address should be on that document. Print their reply off and save it on your computer for future reference should you need to make a claim. You should find that it makes NO DIFFERENCE if you are travelling with your partner OR on your own on one of these annual 'joint policies' but best to make sure (and keep the evidence) with your particular insurer.

    Good luck with the trip.

advice on individual or couples travel insurance

    Hi, help please

I am looking at columbus direct travel insurance.

I am travelling in a few days with my boyfriend and we do live together.

not sure if i should get annual individual or couple insurance as I want to be able for us both to have the flexiability to travel on our own on another trip.

If i chose annual couple insurance and either of us travel alone on another trip will we fully be covered?

Yes i have read the policy wording and the summarry document and it does say we will be covered as a single person but it does not say if we travel indiviually on another trip.

    Please advise.

    Thanks
