    Re: Life Insurance Cover

    Hi

Exactly the same but as they are now adults the life cover would be relevant, Just bear in mind with these you HAVE to keep them full term to benefit you coul look at a stocks and shares ISA depending on your attitude to risk

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply

The boys, although they act like children at times are actually 18 and 23 respectivly, so i presume they would not be eligible for this type of policy.

    Re: Life Insurance Cover

These are child saving plans [endowments] written as life insurance but not carrying any life cover you can't insure children they are written as such to avoid tax issues. There are several companies that do these they usually have a guaranteed starting amount and have annual and terminal bonuses attached [as opposed to stocks and shares plans], I am a bit loath to reccomend one as it comes under advice [FSA] There have been new ones introduced that carry minimal charges. I would do a search on the net they were always provided by FRIENDLY [the chaps that used to come around the houses and collect] companies, so you could start there!

    Life Insurance Cover

Hi i am after a life/endowment insurance that i can take out for my son and my nephew.

I did have a policy with the co-op where it was for a set number of years with a set monthly premium and there was a guaranteed amount payable out on death. However at the end of the set number of years (if the policy hadnt paid out) you received a cash payment.

Is there anything like this on the market or something similiar

    Thanks Tina
