Hello out there

Can anyone help me, I am going crazy trying to fix reasonably priced insurance for my student daughter just off to uni. She has been a named driver on her dad's insurance for over a year and no claims but I cant find anyone who will give her any credit for that - is it only Direct Line that offers this if you have had insurance with them - which we havent! Any other suggestions of good insurance company's that arent overly mean to students/young drivers.
