    Gas and Electricity credit checks

Can anyone help me, i am going to be moving into a rented place soon and my credit is really bad. The thing is I have been on prepayment meters for the last 4 years and I really don't want to go back on them as they are far too expensive.

I was wondering if there were any Gas and Electric companies that let you pay every three months maybe if you gave them a deposit first without having to go on pre payment meters.

If there are already quarterly meters where you are moving to, you should certainly ask if you can keep them. The supplier is likely to say "yes", perhaps with a deposit, if it saves the job of switching the meters. As long as ther aren't any billing problems for them in the months after you move in, they normally settle for any arrangement which involves the bills being paid on time.
