average spend for a two bedroom flat

Hi, I have a two bedroom flat, and I would like to find out what the average spend in units is, for this type of property. My central heating, water and cooker are gas, everything else is electric. My bill has just arrived, and the average I am spending is 10 units per day on gas, and that seems a rather lot to me, this is £313 for three months, and it is not winter yet.

The central heating hasn't been used, but there are a couple of radiators connected to the hot water, (which is always on) and they are on if the water is being heated. I am at home a lot with my child, which could impact on the spend, but we have not used the central heating in the period covered for the bill.

    Any comments appreciated, many thanks.

I would firstly check that the meter readings are actual or estimated. If they are estimated then they could be over estimated. It does sound like a lot, I have a four bedroom house and I spend £65 per month, but we are out for most of the time and my cooker is electric.

    Good luck

Thanks for your reply. The readings are actual readings. Is there any other reason why it would be so high? During the day I don't use the cooker often. The only gas I am probably using is the one spent on heating water for washing dishes. I cannot thing of anything else. We changed the boiler a couple of years ago, and it is an efficient one, so I am very puzzled by this amount we are spending
