    OK, thanks. What about the best deal for when most calls are made to a few numbers (friends and family)? Or should l post that as new thread?

    I'm not sure that there are any left - I haven't seen any. If there are, I doubt they will remain so for long. Your best bet may be to go for one of the companies with a 9p or 10p charge (Ikea, Tesco etc).

    I am on a Virgin pay as you go tariff. They wrote to say there will now be a 15p minimum for each call. As I only make a few very short calls per week, this will mean an increase of several 100% in my charges. Are there any other tariffs that don;t have a minimum charge that I can change to?
