    I cant believe this...

Just got a quote from the rac to reinsure my car...

So i checked the moneysupermarket with the identical details to my policy and did a search.

The RAC came in 2nd on the list but with a quote that was nearly 40% less!

So I telephoned them and asked what was going on and they agreed it was a better deal because it was the internet and I was entitled to try it. The customer advisor said at least they would retain the business.

Whatever happened to rewarding loyality and how many years have i been paying too much for my insurance while I thought the RAC was giving mre the best deal it could.

    Very dissapointed

    Phil

Loyalty to any service provider that operates in the competitive markets is never rewarded or reciprocated. Always seek new quotes. They are not your friends, they are there to take your money.

    I agree withthe previous reponder

you are only covered if you they can't find a reason why they can't wriggle out of it

they will give reasons when in debt themselves as to why they can't get out of it. REcently I was sent to jail because a judge that was clearly paid by the insurance market and had to look at benefit system said I should tell them about stuff that had no bearing on the actual policy or payout concerned because he knew about the insurance market and that they had the option not to pay out if they decided that you knew a man in a green hat not specified in the insurance that you should not be paid because you did not tell them about that fact.He was wrong and the High court decided otherwiseRv Passmore 18 June 2007 and now that means you do not have to tell any authority about something that has no bearing on the payments if it does not actually affect entightlement.

there is no such thing as loyalty it is the contract legally that you have with an insurance company. You either are covered or you are not. Read the documents.

If my insurance policy states that unless my car exceeds £5000 value any extra insurance against liability of uninsured loss requires me to exceed that otherwise the unisured loss will not apply. I will have to pay it any way. The insurance market is about providing money for the rich not insuring the poor. E.G. group 20 £200000 cars = £2000 year group 10 £15000= £1000 year

so I am paying for nothing won't have it then easy money for them

paay insurance that has no prospect of paying out = con

why not pay for travel insurance and not leave the UK when you do not leave the UK with your car insurance

    = ***

you are if you buy it
