So far I have had a about 6 weeks of hell from Tiscali. Suddenly out of the blue my broadband stopped working, I phoned them and they blamed the modem, then BT and then eventually they said they had increase my broadband width and I my line just could take it. (It may sound so simple when I write it but believe me it was a lot of phone calls, putting me on hold, transfers to other departments and pathetic people on the other line.)
Fair enough I thought just give me my money back and I'll find a new provider and I'll be on my way. But when Tiscali say they are going to do something don't beleive them. They didn't give me my money back in fact they have taken the next months money as well. They didn't cancel my account until 3 phone calls after they orginally said they were going to. 3 weeks later.
The biggest shock of all is that they did eventually cancel my account without allowing me to get my emails and address. Oh yeah I didn't have the Internet and it was all Tiscali's fault but they are not going to let me back into my account ever. In fact they will not even discuss the issue with me. Not once was there a sorry.
To all those that believe in Tiscali I say more fool you I was fine for 3 years but that's because I didn't have to contact them and once you do good luck. Just give yourself 2 small tests: 1 - try and find their phone number on their website see how long it takes you. 2 -phone them and see how long it takes for them to pick up the phone while you hold and pay for the call.
Does anyone know if Tiscali have the right to take my email account away without notice especially since I am stll paying for it.
