Yes, they are quite open and trasparent with this. You can use them for short term borrowing. I myself have the flexible loan with Cahoot. You can ask for £10k, then use it as a reserve account and draw on it, then pay it back. Its excellent. The Northern Rock one is good too, but if you wantto borrow again you have to apply again.

I need to borrow some money but I may be in a position to repay it after only a few months. I have noticed that some lenders such as Northern Rock advertise that they have no redemption payments. Is this as simple as it sounds? Could I borrow £9000 and pay it all back in two months without any problems? Would this affect my Credit rating? Is there some hidden problem here? Any advice would be appreciated.
