need to sell a car just bought

Hi can anyone help? I bought a vauxhall astra 05 last month but due to financial reasons I need to sell it I read a few peeps had problem with (Webuyanycar.com) who quoted me £3885 for it, now that's not bad I think cause I paid £4300, I also got a quote from (Car4cash.uk), I don't really have the time to do a private sale but could reconsider if no other option. My question is are these companies legal or are they scams,

Both. Beware that these prices are subject to inspection. When you take the car to their depot, there's more than a good chance that they will alter their 'bid' (downwards) once they have carried out their inspection.

If, on the other hand, you are happy with their final valuation, make sure you have cleared funds in your account before handing over the keys and signing any registration papers.

webuyanycar.com are as far as Im aware are honest and can be trusted. However you must make sure your car has been described accuratley to them or when they come to see it and start finding marks, chips, scuffs, etc then they could deduct money for this.

I would strongly advise trying to sell your car on autotrader as there is an opportunity for a higher price than what a trader may pay?

Both of these iternet companies should be able to provide you with the reassurance you need as everyone is aware of scammers and dodgy traders.

if webuyanycar is offering you that price then my advice would be to put the car on ebay as a featured item, I have done this with my last 2 cars, I went for a no reserve highest bidder gets the car style auction, costs about £30 and both times I received very acceptable offers for the car prior to the end of the auction and took those offers. In both cases the car was sold for £750 and £1100 more than webuyanycar offered.
