    Serious Rent Arrears

    Hi

I've got myself into a very bad situation, I live alone and over the past year i've been missing the odd rent payment.

I have now been issued a Warant summary, I called my Housing Association who advised my I must pay £1000 by 30th Sept or go to court.

I have really bad credit and in proceedings with Credit Conselling so really struggling for loan.

    My bank won't help.

    Any advice welcome.

    Thanks in advance

    Gx

So you have avoided paying your rent, and now you want to know what to do about it? Sorry, I don't understand the question. What have you been spending your money on? Do you not understand that the most important thing is the roof over your head? Why should the Housing association subsidise your irresponsibility?

    Well said Skywalker!

I am a private landlord and get no end of tenants falling into massive arrears who then ending up crying when they get evicted. They ignore phone calls and letters and even if arrangements are made to gradually catch up the arrears they rarely stick to their word. What have you been spending your money on?? Cigarettes and alcohol at a guess!. Perhaps when you eventually get evicted you will treat your next landlord with a bit of respect and pay your rent!!.
