    multiple car insurance

    I have just been given a car by my father that i intended to use for long journeys as its more economical than my car but when i tried to insure it was told that i could not use my no claims bonus for an additional car Is this right? thanks for any advice pammie

    Hi Pammie --- You will only be allowed to use your accrued NCB for any one car at a time, you could transfer it onto the other car, but not duplicate it.

    If you contact your insurer, quite often they will allow you a two year introductory bonus on a second car as a way of keeping the new business.

    my first coment was removed by higher power,

    so let try again, A-plan insurance has started a new tempoary cover for other vehicles for upto a month

    see there web site.

    it helped me with the same problem
