Hi all,

basically i am getting a car allowance from my job and am looking at what car to get. i have decided on the Honda CRV and was wondering how to finance it. I was thinking of a 4 year HP agreement. That would mean that my company would've paid about 90% of the value over this time and i would pay the last payment and the car would be mine....any comments on this??

True, I do work for Ford! I don't make or design the cars and so if the car was rubbish, I wouldn't mind saying so. Like I say, just my opinion.

I agree about the Eastern Europeans being better valeters....!

Just so I can prepare a counter argument if I ever need it when I've someone at my desk - What exactly made you prefer the CRV Vipster?

(all the below is my personal opinion!)

Cosmetically, the CRV looks nicer, has more of a presence on the road, 'Honda' has more of an 'executive' image, usually more reliable

other positives: more space inside for passengers (especially in the rear seats), more storage space, sat nav in CRV was big plus point, the 'EX' spec had everything i was looking for in my new car, the drive was smoother, the seating position for the driver was more comfortable and higher, honda 'pick up' was quicker on the road.

that's a few reasons as to why i prefer the CRV.
