Hi follington21
Not all creditors provide all details of all relationships you have with them to the reporting agencies. For instance, one of my banks' provides the details of my current account but not my loan account. One provides details of my credit card, but not my current account. And some don't seem to provide any details at all.
There are differing levels of intensity with which companies use the agencies...some only use to query your file when you apply, yet some choose to furnish details of the intricate workings of your accounts. I guess it just depends on what level of service the lender has signed up with.
The CIFAS entry is a flag for fraud avoidance. When prospective lenders see this flag they are required to conduct further checks before offering you a facility.
And finally, remember that your credit score can change daily and the score that the agencies have is their own interpretation. All lenders have their own method of scoring applications so therefore your score will change from lender to lender and sometimes even from day to day.
Hope this helps.
