    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

hi all. i am very suspicious here . if we all knew one another it would be different kettle of fish.i think the best way is to go on your own to the engine center.with the police of course if thats what you want. the point i am trying to make is these people are very clever so maybe they are here now reading this message. remember the way that they where so nice to us the very first phone call.any one of us could be one of them. our problem is maybe we are to trusting.does any of you hold the same view.there must be another way for us all to meet up without the use of e mails and the net.

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

hi how are you, i was quoted 1,480 then they pick up the van and 3days later they left me a message that few more things needs doing like water pump and gearboxmounts where perished. so they demand money now before they can carry on with the work. i say that the quote was for 1,480 thats when i realised that there was more to this company. as in take your money and run.i now have paid them 1400 i have no more to give them so i said to them that i would let them know when i had the rest of money for them. but guess what they just help themselves to it now they have had full payment.and engine still in bits in the back.as for saturday all i can say that they try every excuse to stop me having it.i was not going to travel 250 miles for nothing. you should be ok just be positive. i went there alone. i do not think they are violent people. but then again you have not payed them so it could have different outcome. all i can say is be positve and dont leave without it. as for money on saturday no gave them nothing.and even if they want more they will not get.

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

Is there anyway the people who are going on Monday can contact me before hand? I do not want to discuss matters on a open forum. I would leave my e-mail here, but I am only too aware that it is open for anyone pick up. Vice versa I suppose. Thanks.

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

    Thanks guys, let's keep going!

I've been trying to reach fellow 'tradedrights' as he has done so much for our cause, but have been unsuccessful so far, probably down to the fact I don't know what to do, female and French you see, it just doesn't help...

He would probably know how to reach out to more people. If you know how to contact him, please help!

    Cheers.

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

    Hi guys,

Quick update on the bast rescue.

As explained earlier, we are going to try and retrieve our car on Monday.

The local police assured us of a police 'escort' for safety.

I am contacting the local papers to try and get some media coverage.

    PLEASE, THIS IS THE TIME!!!

IF WE ALL SEND THE LOCAL PAPERS EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS THIS WEEKEND, TO CONFIRM OUR STORIES OF CONSTANT RIP-OFFS THEY MIGHT TURN UP ON MONDAY AND IT SHOULD DAMAGE THOSE CONMEN ENOUGH (FOR NOW...)
    JOIN US IN THE FIGHT!

    PLEEEASE!!!!

TYPE IN 'EALING LOCAL PAPERS' AND GET EMAILING, GO FOR IT!!!!

We will be there on Monday lunchtime, outside the infamous unscrupulous 'Heathrow Engine Centre'.

CHEERS GUYS, TOGETHER IN THE FIGHT!!!!!

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

    Hi Ergo,

    Just saw your message.

The same thing happened to us. They took the car, quoted doubled, when we refused to pay for the work they said we would have to pay £500 for the work carried on for the engine report. We are going to try and collect the car on Monday with a police officer (and hopefully retrieve the new parts we had left on the seat for them to fit in).

Can you tell me, did you pay anything when you went to collect your van?

Please let us know asap if you can.

    Many thanks.

    Re: Heathrow Engine centre

That's awful. Can you not contact the police and report it as stolen?

For Gds sake don't pay them.
