    Hi

Yes, you should insist. Speak with the manager.

Maybe they will ask you to pay a bit more usually 1% for the charges the credit card company will incurred.

Paying for a new car by credit card

I have recently paid a £500 deposit for a new vauxhall by credit card, and assumed that I would be able to pay the balance in the same way, but the salesman has advised it has to be a debit card or bankers draught...I am not able to do this in time as I have to give notice of withdrawal to get the money from my savings account. Can I insist on paying by credit card, and where do I stand please
