I agree with you - you signed up for free internet access and they have changed the T&C

You are perfectly entitled to cancel your contract without any loss to you

Vodafone change of contract - what are my rights?

    Hi,

When my contract with vodafone was due to end last July i was considering leaving them because i wanted a contract where i could browse the mobile internet for free/as part of my tariff. I was looking at 3 who had a good deal for £15 a month. I went into a Vodafone shop and was told that vodafone had now made the internet free to access, so essentially there was no point in changing providers so i upgraded my phone and stayed with Vodafone.

However from the 1st June this year they have started charging for accessing the mobile internet, so my last 2 bills have had about £5 - £7 worth of data charges on them.

My question is are Vodafone allowed to do this and am i within my rights to request that Vodafone terminate my contract? The change to the terms and conditions is clearly to my disadvantage and the contact is now something i would not have agreed to last July.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with Vodafone?

    Thanks
