Hi Backfoot I found the details on another pricecomparison site, Uswitch also send me monthly update emails,and its on there, have cut and pasted the details from their email: ScottishPower have launched a new fixed price plan, “Fixed Price Energy October 2009”. The plan is available for dual fuel and electricity only customers and you must pay by monthly Direct Debit. The charges for this plan are higher for gas by £9 a month (based on current monthly Direct Debit prices) and £9 a month for electricity (based on current monthly Direct Debit prices), BUT they will not increase if ScottishPower increases prices between now and 30th September 2009. The plan is not yet available on the market, but customers can pre-register their switch with uSwitch today and ScottishPower will begin processing your switch to ”Fixed Price Energy October 2009” between 21st and 25th August.
