    Trying leave Talk Talk

This is the content of an email I have sent to the CEO's office of TALKTALK. Have removed my personnel information - still awaiting a reply.

    Vicky

I am using my work account as I have no internet or phone service at my new house We spoke in June about cancelling my Talk Talk account.

I then spoke to customer services on 11 June and they agreed to cancel my account without charge if the service was transferred to the new owners of my house if I completed some forms which were to be mailed to me.

On 17 June we spoke again and you emailed the transfer of service forms for completion as none had arrived in the mail.

On 18 June I completed the forms and got the new owners of my house to complete their portion and I mailed the completed documents back to the home mover’s team that night 1st class post.

On 25 June we moved house and although the phone line was working we presumed the service had transferred to the new owners.

On 27 June the line was disconnected and when the new house owners enquired with Talk Talk they were told that we had taken our services to our new property and they would have to pay £100 - £150 to be reconnected.

On 30 June I went into the Car Phone Warehouse office in Harrogate and talked to customer services and informed them that we DID NOT WANT TALK TALK ANYMORE – they agreed to note the file again to this effect and would call me back on my mobile. NO CALL BACK RECEIVED.

On 1 July the new owners again called me and asked me to talk to customer services again – this I did and the helpful lady said yes they understood that I was not continuing service and that wrong information was given on 11 June as the service could not just be transferred. The lady agreed to speak to her supervisor as wrong information had been given they would look into reinstating the line at no cost to the new owners of the house. Again she said they would call my mobile back with more information – NO CALL BACK RECEIVED.

On 3 July I arrived at my new house to find a message card through the door from Openreach saying they want to access the property on behalf of Car Phone Warehouse. I tried to contact Openreach but could not find a number so called the Talk Talk customer services – after 20 minutes the lady said she was trying to sort this out with the “back room” and would again call me back on my Mobile. NO CALL RECEIVED AGAIN.

WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP HARRASSING ME AND WILL SOMEONE CALL ME BACK ON (work no) TO CONFIRM THAT TALK TALK HAS CEASED MY SERVICE AND WILL STOP TRYING TO CONNECT AN UNWANTED SERVICE TO MY NEW HOUSE.

CAN I ALSO HAVE TO CONTACT DETAILS FOR CHARLES DUNSTONE AS HE MAY BE ABLE TO STOP MY ACCOUNT AS NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO CARE – I HAVE CANCELLED MY DIRECT DEBIT WITH YOURSELVES AND UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED WILL CONTINUE TO PESTER YOU AND ALL TALK TALK MESSAGE BOARDS.

Vicky called me this morning but I am awaiting her call back to confirm everything is completed - she also said that she would email me to confirm TALKTALK have no more interest in my new house and the BT order had been cancelled. Also in the email Vicky said she were free and clear and did not owe any more money.
