    Re: yes car credit

    Paul.................

reputation ????,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yes car credit...............???.......you MUST be joking...................they are another arrogant company

this car deal under question should have been set up such that the value of the car under-pinned the loan..........clearly ycc have got their maths wrong I suspect and there is a shortfall deficit.....................well tough, that's their fault.....................they AGREED the deal

I suggest the borrower does seek proper advice and seeks action against ycc

    Re: yes car credit

Hi Var - As per Sara comment I would suggest you seek advice from the Citizen Advice Bureau.

I'd also ring the customer service team at Yes Car Credit and ask them to detail the situation / reson for the solicitors letter. This information will help the CAB. I'd also explan your situation and tell Yes Car Credit that you believe you'll have difficulty making this sort of payment.

If yes car credit have any sort of a good reputation they will want to help you. Involving solicitors and chasing payment in this manner doesn't really benefit anyone and it tends to be a providers last resort if they can't get hold of a customer.

Speak to Yes Car Credit see what they want and then get some independent advice from the CAB.

Please come back to the forum if you need any more help.

    Take care,
    Paul

    Re: yes car credit

Contact the Citizens advice bureau, as they may be able to get YCC to agree a suitable repayment amount and stop them from hasseling you with nasty letters & telephone calls. The CAB are great. they are helping me with my debts and they helped my Brother-in-Law.

Good luck, YCC can get nasty, i've been there!!

    yes car credit

I purchased a car from ycc approx 2005, it was reposessed late last year only to recieve a letter recently from their solicitors demanding £5000. I am a single parent on a low income and have no way of raising this amount so quickly.
