hi posted on here be for think i got my electric usage wrong been in touch with my supplier so i have got some more redings please could you help ........ my annual usage is about 11330 about 31 units per day. im on a prepayment meter as this way is best for me and i no how much the standing charge is 1.40 per week, currently im putting on aroun 28 p/week.... thursday 5th june at 6 o clock my reading was 16597 24 hours later 16628 , this was us beening very careful all items in the house switch off even the pc when not in use. from the 25th january 2007 until today i have put on my meter 1759 pounds...any advice thanks

That is a high usage indeed. I would definitely get in touch with whoever the supplier is and tell them that you've tested your meter by turning off all the elec and the meter is still registering. They will (or should) send someone round to do an accuracy test. Some may charge you for that but will give you the money back once it's proven to be wrong. Sounds like a problem!

I'd actually do the test first, before telling your supplier you have. It may very well solve o at the very least let you know what the problem is immedieately.
