I work within the financial services industry and CIC is generally the policy that does pay out most frequently. (in my and my colleagues experiences)

I believe official statistics are 1 in 3 people will suffer a critical illness.

I'm certainly a believer and have plenty of cover for myself!

I am planning to take out a life assurance and critical illness policy. I have seen lots of claims statistics - but was hoping for some real feedback from anyone who has had real experience, good or bad, of making a claim?
