Hello,

I have a friend who is not a British national (and comes from outside the EU as well) who is looking at buying a Term insurance for himself.

There are a few things that I am confused about, for him.
1. Does he need to be a British national to buy/eventually claim a Term insurance policy?
2. Do the insurance companies recognise death certificates issued by other countries?
3. Are there any specific points to take note before getting such a risk coever?

Any help will be highly appreciable.
