    O2 Broadband - top banana

I have just got O2 broadband for £7.50 a month having signed up to a month by month simplicity SIM only deal. This has brought over my phone number from Orange.

I have previously struggled with poor, unreliable connections until moving to O2. The O2 connection is stable and quick. The router, whilst bascically a Tompson in an O2 shell does the job. For the first time, my laptop and PDA don't drop signal and make use of the near 8MB speed. This was not the case previously (0.5 meg at best).

O2 send you texts at each stage after the MAC code transfer, router delivery, line connection etc and were spot on. Their helpline is free and quick.

At last, something that works with a decent customer service and a decent price. This review may sound a bit over the top but the package is good value, dependable and won't tie you in to any contract. I recomend O2.

Glad you had such a good experience with them.

I had been considering moving over to O2 as my isp charges around £3.00 per 2gb's of usage and you only get 2gb a month which is just not enough.

I was all ready to move over to o2's service, but they don't do it in my area yet!! Grrrr.

Hope your connection runs for many years without a hitch.

I'm also really satisfied with O2. After two painful experiences with AOL and Tiscali, it was truly refreshing to find a broadband package that actually does what it says on the tin.

I changed from Sky to o2 broadband and its fantastic!!!!

We had huge problems with Sky with over charging and poor speeds and they did not care one bit about trying to resolve our problems!

Not the case with o2, we did have a problem with connection one day so called the call centre which is not in India thank god! and the representative was really helpful and sorted out our problem (which was not down to o2 but the whole exchange had gone down) really quickly!

The set up was really simple and as above we were kept informed throughout, we continue to recceive messages reminding us that payment is due to be taken a couple of days in advance which is a nice touch!

The speed we get is the one advertised, again not like Sky! If there is ever an issue with your connection the connection wizard tool will automatically attempt to repair the problem without you having to do it!!!

    Definately reccommend o2 broadband!

Overall we are really happy with the package and have never had any problems!
