I give Pipex a resounding zero
I have had so many problems with Pipex.
I have sent many emails and the staff do little to sort problems out.
It is several months since I wrote to the Managing Director of Pipex and I am still awaiting a response from that person.
I have had disgraceful customer service, broken promises.
From the start of the service I have never received monthly bills for my broadband account and I have been debited vast amounts of money which I was not aware of. The account I had was £17 per month at the time and I have subsequently found out that I have been paying amounts much more than I signed on for. I am a light user and I use tesco webmail and only use those facilities.
Finally and worst of all Pipex have been charging me for telephone charges that I did not ask for and did not use.
When I originally registered for the Pipex broadband, I used the online facility to open the account. My son who is more au fait with computers helped me with it. It all went smoothly , but there was a check box that you had to check if you did'nt want the telephone service. I have used 1899.com for a few years and I was happy with their service, so I tried to check the box that stated I did not want the telephone services, but it would not work. I tried many times but it would not work. I then sent the customer services an email and I became a Pipex user.
It is only fairly recent that I complained to Pipex about the poor level of service and consistent loss of Pipex service. It was only then that I found out that they had been charging for unwanted telephone services.
Pipex refuse to reimburse this substantial amount of money. I also wanted recompense for the useless pipex broadband.
