    Confused [*-)] TalkTalk broadband

I read the article about the cheapest broadband and almost got excited until I remembered KC have a stranglehold on broadband in Hull, although OFTEL think it's entirely fair and competitive, just as OPEC is fair and competitive in the oil market I presume. Does any one know if we Hull folk can get broadband cheaper than KC? As all I hear is a resounding "NO!"?

Also are TalkTalk as bad as many people say? I suppose there's the "you get what you pay for" argument hidden in there but just how good/bad are they?

    Ta muchly

    Re: TalkTalk broadband

I am with Talk talk for more then 12 months and find it amazingly good... they have a generous 40 GB download allowance and free national n international calls... try to use it thru a cashback site like quidco and make more money..... its a fantastic deal

    Re: TalkTalk broadband

    Yes Dear

Try downloading a file four times because of speeds of 23kb's second, an email hat keeps blocking me out, a firewall that keeps turning itself off.

The service is very reasonably priced but that is no excuse for lack of quality. I only use the service to get online and dont use a lot of their services, all I expect is to get online with a reasonable speed.
