    I try, one day i want to be a stand up but think i lack the confidence...

     Do you think baking soda could help with that? Maybe raise my game a little?

    Certainly makes nice soda bread, mixed in with all the other ingredients, including sour milk.

    nice one ha, ha, now i will tell tell you what nana used it for,she made all us kids wash our teeth with it ! honest it really works on stubborn stains,  try it....

    I was told by a repairman from Zanussi to use it to clean the fridge. It kills bugs and doesn't taint the food in the fridge. Just mix a couple of tbl in a bucket of warm water.

    yes its also excellent to put it in your washing machine when washing white clothes, about 3 tablespoons, really makes whites whiter - sorry - dont mean to sound like a silly tv ad there - but its true !!! LOL

    Baking soda is brilliant for removing smells. Put it in the bottom of ash-trays to get rid of smoke smells, and sprinkle it on carpet spills then vacumm up.
